Frequently Asked Questions
1What is NBANTM?
NBANTM is a drug-free, self-administered, water-proof and fashionable anti-nausea band that helps to alleviate motion/travel sickness, morning sickness during pregnancy, chemotherapy nausea and post-operative nausea. It can be worn like a watch on the wrist.
2 What is motion sickness?
Motion sickness is described as a sensory conflict which occurs when exposed to physical or visual motion, such as during travel. If you are using your phone while riding in a car, your eyes are fixed on the phone screen but inner ear experiences motion. Both the sensory organs send conflicting signals to the brain which results in nauseous feeling.
3How does NBANTM work?
NBANTM works on the principle of Acupressure, an ancient Chinese practice dating back to almost 5000 years. This alternative medicine technique involves stimulation at particular points by means of physical pressure. NBANTM, through its stud, exerts pressure on the P6 point (also known as Nei-Guan point).
4What is P6 or Nei-Guan point?
P6 is located three fingers below the wrist, between the two tendons, on the same side of your palm. Stimulation of P6 is known to alleviate nausea and vomiting.
5What are the uses of NBANTM?
